Refund Policy

At Workwear Express, we want you to feel confident when ordering workwear, uniforms and branded apparel. Please read our refund, return and exchange information below before placing your order.

Important note about custom branded items

Items that have been embroidered, screen printed, digitally printed, customised, altered or specially produced for your order generally cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded for change of mind once artwork, order details or production have been approved.

Eligible items may be returned if they are unused, unworn, unwashed, in original condition and returned with packaging and proof of purchase.

Branded, customised, special order or altered products are made for you and may not be eligible for return or exchange.

Faulty items

If an item appears faulty, damaged or incorrect, please contact us promptly so we can review the issue and advise the next step.

Change of mind returns

If you have changed your mind about an eligible item, please contact Workwear Express as soon as possible. Returns are assessed on a case-by-case basis and must meet our return conditions.

  • The item must be unused, unworn, unwashed and in original condition.
  • The item must be returned with all original tags, labels and packaging where applicable.
  • Proof of purchase is required for all returns, exchanges or refund requests.
  • Return requests should be made as soon as possible after receiving or collecting your order.

Items that cannot usually be returned

Some items are not suitable for return, refund or exchange unless they are faulty, damaged or supplied incorrectly.

  • Embroidered, printed or customised garments.
  • Items with logos, names, numbers or business branding applied.
  • Special order items that were ordered in specifically for you.
  • Altered, hemmed or modified garments.
  • Used, worn, washed, marked, damaged or soiled items.
  • Clearance, discontinued or final sale items where stated.
  • Items without proof of purchase.

Custom branded uniforms

Before any branded uniform order goes into production, it is important that you carefully check all order details. This includes garment style, colour, size, quantity, logo placement, spelling, artwork and branding method.

Once artwork, logo placement, order details or production have been approved, Workwear Express may not be able to cancel, change, refund or exchange the order if you change your mind or approve incorrect details.

Please check carefully before approving

  • Logo spelling, colours and design details.
  • Garment sizes, colours and product codes.
  • Logo position, print size and embroidery placement.
  • Order quantities and staff names where applicable.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If you believe your order is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, please contact us promptly with your order details and photos of the issue where possible. Our team will review the matter and advise the next step.

Depending on the issue, the outcome may include a repair, replacement, exchange, store credit or refund in line with your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Size exchanges

Size exchanges may be available for eligible, non-customised items if the product is unused, unworn, unwashed and in original condition. Availability of replacement sizes cannot be guaranteed.

Custom branded garments, special order items and altered garments usually cannot be exchanged due to incorrect size selection, so please check sizing carefully before approving your order.

Return shipping costs

Unless the item is faulty, damaged or supplied incorrectly, return shipping costs are generally the responsibility of the customer. Original delivery charges may not be refundable for change of mind returns.

Please contact Workwear Express before sending any item back so we can confirm whether the return is eligible and provide return instructions.

Refunds

If a refund is approved, it will usually be processed back to the original payment method where possible. Refund processing times may vary depending on your bank, payment provider or original payment method.

Workwear Express reserves the right to assess returned items before approving a refund, exchange or credit. Items that do not meet the return conditions may be refused and returned to the customer.

Order cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to assist if the order has not yet been processed, ordered from a supplier, customised, branded or placed into production.

Orders that have already been branded, customised, specially ordered or placed into production may not be able to be cancelled or refunded.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law. If a product has a major fault, is unsafe, is not as described or does not perform as expected, you may be entitled to a remedy.
