Logo setup for professional branded uniforms

Before your logo can be embroidered, screen printed or digitally printed, it may need to be prepared in the right format for production. Workwear Express can help set up your logo so your uniforms look clean, consistent and professional.

Workwear Express logo setup and artwork proof

What is logo setup?

Logo setup is the process of preparing your logo so it can be used properly for uniform branding. A logo that looks fine on a screen may still need to be adjusted or converted before it can be embroidered, screen printed or digitally printed onto garments.

The setup process helps make sure your logo is clean, readable, positioned correctly and suitable for the branding method you choose. This is especially important for small text, fine details, gradients, colour matching and embroidery stitch quality.

  • Ensures your logo looks clear on uniforms and workwear
  • Prepares artwork for embroidery, screen printing or DTF printing
  • Reduces issues with blurry, low-quality or unsuitable files
  • Gives your team a more consistent branded look

How the logo setup process works

We make it easy to get your branding ready, even if you are not sure what file type you have.

1

Send your logo

Email us the best version of your logo you have. This may be a PDF, EPS, AI, SVG, PNG or JPEG file.

2

We check the artwork

Our team checks if the logo is suitable for your chosen branding method, garment type and print or embroidery position.

3

Setup or adjust

If needed, your logo is prepared for production so it can be used for embroidery, screen printing or digital printing.

4

Approve before production

Once your artwork is approved, your order can move ahead with the correct branding method and placement.

Not sure what file type you have?

That is okay. Send through the best logo file you can find and we will let you know if anything else is needed before your uniform order goes ahead.

Behind the scenes logo setup and branding preparation

What logo files are best?

The best logo files are usually vector files because they can be resized without losing quality. These may include Adobe Illustrator, EPS, PDF or SVG files. If you only have a PNG or JPEG, send it through and we can check whether it is suitable.

For embroidery, your logo will need to be converted into an embroidery-ready file. For screen printing or digital printing, the artwork may need to be prepared so the colours, edges and details print clearly.

  • Best file types: Adobe Illustrator, EPS, PDF or SVG
  • PNG or JPEG may be suitable if high quality
  • Small text or fine details may need adjusting
  • Embroidery artwork will require special setup

Logo setup FAQs

A few helpful answers before you send through your logo or uniform enquiry.

Do I need logo setup for every order?

Usually, logo setup is only needed when your logo is being prepared for the first time or when the artwork needs to be adjusted for a new branding method.

What if I only have a JPEG or PNG?

Send it through. If the file is high quality, it may be usable. If it is too small, blurry or low resolution, we may need to have it redrawn by a third party for a small fee.

Is logo setup the same as design work?

Logo setup is about preparing existing artwork for branding. If you need a completely new logo designed, that is a different service.

Can you keep my logo on file?

Yes. Once your logo is set up for your uniform order, it is kept on file, making future repeat orders easy!
